Anton Lapov (b. 1984, Lugansk, Ukraine) . Artist, independent curator and museologist. In his artistic practice Lapov is trying to combine research-based methodologies of humanities with computational aesthetics ideas. In particular, he is focusing on such subjects as exploring ecosystems via data visualization and sonification, research of militarization of societies by means of web-based art, problems of alternative communication systems through the lense of radio-art, and media-archeological investigations. Lapov’s works were exhibited in Ukraine, Russia, Poland, Germany, Austria, Italy, U.K., and the U.S.
